1- Overview

HyperX is one of the most recognized brands in the global gaming industry, known for its high-performance headsets, keyboards and accessories used by professional players and enthusiasts worldwide.

During my time working with the brand, the focus was to strengthen HyperX’s presence in the Latin American gaming ecosystem by building authentic connections with gamers, streamers and esports communities across the region.


2- The Challenge

The Latin American gaming market is one of the fastest growing in the world, with highly engaged communities across platforms like Twitch, YouTube and competitive esports scenes.

For HyperX, the challenge was not only increasing brand visibility, but also maintaining credibility and authenticity among passionate gamers who quickly recognize when a brand truly understands their culture.

The goal was to reinforce HyperX’s position as a trusted brand within the gaming community while continuing to expand its presence across LATAM.


3- My Role

As part of the regional marketing efforts as a copywriter, I supported creative and community initiatives designed to connect HyperX with gamers across Latin America.

My work included supporting digital content initiatives, collaborating with influencers and esports teams, and contributing to campaigns and events that helped bring the brand closer to the gaming community.



4- Strategy & Execution

The strategy focused on community-driven marketing and authentic partnerships within the gaming ecosystem.

Instead of relying only on traditional advertising, the approach emphasized collaborations with influencers, esports players and gaming personalities who already had strong credibility within their communities.

The execution combined digital content, influencer collaborations and community-driven activations designed to highlight the brand’s connection with gamers.

5- Reflection

Working with HyperX reinforced an important lesson about gaming marketing: authenticity is everything.

Gamers value brands that genuinely understand their culture, and the most effective campaigns are those that engage with the community rather than simply speaking to it.

This experience shaped how I approach gaming and tech marketing today, always prioritizing authenticity, community and meaningful connections with audiences.
